Dr.  Carla Hix is a licensed clinical psychologist.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts
degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California at  Irvine.
 Her Masters of Arts and Doctoral Degree were earned in Clinical Psychology from
the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles, accredited by the
American Psychological Association.  Dr. Hix is a member of the American
Psychological Association.

Dr. Hix evaluates, diagnoses and treats children, adolescents, adults and families.  
She has experience with a wide range of clients, from the mildest issues of toddler
non-compliance, to the more serious issues of acting-out teenagers, to adults
stressed by parenting, divorce, work and family.  She specializes in evaluating and
treating behavior and social skills problems in children and teens, with a particular
specialty in ADD, ADHD, O.D.D. and Aspergers Disorder.  She helps families cope
with the emotions that arise after diagnosis of psychological, behavioral, learning and
developmental disorders.

Nora Daley is a licensed marriage and family therapist.  She earned her Bachelor of
Arts degree in Sociology, Psychology and English from the University of Portland in
Oregon.  Her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology was earned from National
University.  Nora has also earned her certification as an Employee Assistance Coach
Specialist.  She is a member of the California Association for Marriage and Family
Therapists (CAMFT).

Nora has over 20 years of experience working with infants, children, adolescents,
adults, seniors and families in the combined fields of education and mental health.
In her work with children and families, Nora utilizes a child-centered, developmental
approach focused on enhancing the positive parent-infant/child dyad and supporting
the infant/child’s sense of self towards improved communications and relationships
within the family, school and community.

Nora also provides consultations and presentations to parents, caretakers, schools
and community agencies with an emphasis on early intervention, school readiness,
social-emotional curriculum development and inclusion.
