Social Skills Group is an ideal place to build appropriate behaviors. In the group setting, the therapist
has an opportunity to observe, intervene and problem solve "in the moment." Real life experiences are
worth a thousand lectures! Additionally, social skills lessons are learned through enjoyable games and
activities and children are often given fun homework assignments. In the social skills group setting, each
child works towards their individual goals.
50 minute group session $40
Initial Consultation
The first session includes a comprehensive interview with the parents, behavior analysis, review of
school records and prior treatment records, parent and teacher checklist evaluation, and diagnosis. This
session will provide treatment recommendations and will provide a chance for parents to make clear,
identifiable goals for treatment.
50-90 minute session $100-$125
Visa, MasterCard, checks and cash accepted. Sorry, no insurance. Helping Kids Shine
can provide a detailed billing/invoice that can be submitted to PPO/indemnity insurance
plans.
